Description

This is a very simple and easy salmon recipe. This is one of my favorite recipes because i can always choose one of the three different glazes for my salmon. Even if i eat salmon everyday, i will not get bored as long as i keep rotating the glazes.

You can serve the salmon with stir-fried kale or blanched green beans. My favorite is bourbon glazed salmon on a bed of stir-fried kale. Click here for the recipe of stir-fried kale!

Salt

Directions

1
Pour some olive oil to the skillet and heat up on medium heat.
2
While waiting for the oil to warm up, season the fillet by rubbing some lemon juice and followed by some salt and pepper.
3
Place the fillet on the pan and cook for about 2 min or until the salmon is cooked half way. You can check this by looking at the side (cross section).
4
While waiting for the fillet to cook, prepare the glaze mixture by mixing the ingredients listed above in a bowl.
5
Turn the fillet to cook the other side and pour the glaze mix of your choice.
6
Brush the glaze to the top of the salmon using a spoon, repeatedly, to get even coating.
7
Once the fillet has cooked for about 2 min, remove the fillet from the skillet and place in on the serving plate.
8
Keep heating the glaze mix until the sauce dehydrates and thickens to desired consistency.
9
Pour the glaze over the fish fillet.
