Tips

  1. If you are using olive oil, use medium heat so the oil does not smoke.
  2. You can add the garlic first and let it roast in the oil to bring out more flavor before adding kale.

Ingredients

1 bunch Kale - chopped
1 tbs minced garlic

Directions

1
Add cooking oil to the pan and heat it up on medium high heat.
2
Once the pan is warm enough, add chopped kale.
3
Cook for about 2-3 minutes. You can cover the pan to speed up the cooking process.
4
Once the kale starts to shrink, add minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce and mix well. You may add some water if you want your kale to be slightly wet. You may add some salt if you want but keep in mind soy sauce adds some saltiness too.
5
Cook for another 2 minutes or to desired texture. I like mine to be slightly crisp.
6
Turn the heat off and add the sesame oil and give the a kale a good mix. You will note an immediate change in aroma once the sesame oil is added.
