Sautéed Peppers with Basil

Description

A refreshing and easy vegetarian/vegan recipe. Perfect to be paired with garlic bread or grilled chicken

Ingredients

2 tbs olive oil
10 mini sweet peppers-assorted colors (julienned)
1 anaheim pepper (julienned)
1/4 yellow onion (half moon slices)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

Directions

On medium heat, warm up olive oil

Add the sliced onions and sauté for 1-2 min

Add the julienned peppers, garlic powder, salt and black pepper and sauté for 5-6 min

Lastly, add the basil leaves and keep cooking for another 3 min or until the basil shrinks and/or changes color
